Artist's Comments

Testing out my Sculpey Firm clay by doing a rough sketch of FF8 Bahamut. There's a figure already so I don't think I'll do the whole thing, but I could turn it into a bust. What do you think? Sculpey Firm takes detail as well as expected, it's just hard as nails to mix even using a pasta roller.

Though I don't know much about types of clay, it looks really cool! :D
And about the clay getting hard... Are you not allowed to mix water into it?

Try mixing some regular super sculpey into it. It works well to soften it a little. The box i got was too dry and it helped with that. too.

Bahamut has always been my fav summon in FF. cool looking sketch.

地のクレイではありませんので水が入っていません。

It doesn't get hard if you leave it sitting out.
You have to mix all types of Sculpey before using them or the texture is not smooth.
There's "Sculpey Diluent" you can buy to mix in the Sculpey if it's too dry, I didn't have any though.
