Artist's Comments
I sculpted this piece for a Native American event this year. The theme was dragonflies, so I decided to sculpt a life size realistic one.
I ended up running out of time so I couldn't make it as perfect as I wanted, but I'm happy with the little guy. It was a nice challenge sculpting a dragonfly, it's something I wouldn't have sculpted normally. The wings are made from a pattern printed out on transparency paper. Sculpted with Super Sculpey and Premo. There's wire support inside. |
